Dr. John's pursuit into Chinese Medicine was fueled by the passion and desire to help people reach their goal of ultimate physical, mental, spiritual health; combined with the desire to evolve as a person himself. This pursuit was not met without challenge; whereas he decided to leave his life as a police officer in order to move across the country to return to graduate college. There have been a number of people who have been inspirational to overcome this challenge; and John would like to take the time to acknowledge the following and there role in his journey. After witnessing his father-in-law, Dr. Bulatao, MD fulfill a lifetime love of medicine by compassionately serving others.  After late night talks with a friend, Dr. Mathew Johnson PhD; who inspired him to move forward.  John's own introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine as a patient of a PCOM graduate, Gregg St. Claire L.Ac., where he had the firsthand experience of being in the hands of a practitioner who took  the time to connect. John's journey into the medicine deepened after connecting with another PCOM graduate, Dr. Michael Wayne PhD, L.Ac. who inspired him to take on this life changing challenge. To Linda who has supported John the most and has gone above and beyond to ensure success. John would also like to thank all family and friends who have been apart of this journey.

Prior to entering Pacific College, Dr. John had a career as a State Police Officer in New York. He wants to take his experiences, education and his passion to connect; so that both the patient and himself as a practitioner continue to learn and grow towards health and happiness. Providing the most compassionate and best health and wellness care are the goals of his practice.

Special interest are the outdoors; especially his trips back home to the Adirondacks. He loves spending time with his black lab Trinity and Dachshund mix Sage.  He also considers himself a foodie and enjoys exploring different cafes, restaurants and Farmer's Markets with his wife Linda. Future travel someday includes exploring the sights, sounds and taste of Italy and Ireland.
